So I am sitting on the couch the other night watching tv and on comes the Pro-active commercial with the free bonus refining mask with purchase and Jessica Simpson pushing the product when all of a sudden my husband pipes in about how those tiny little blemishes that EVERYONE on that commercial has would easily be treated by any acne product.
Really though, has Jessica Simpson ever had more than 3 pimples on that perfectly finished face? Possibly, but that is nothing that the magic of television, airbrushing, and 6 layers of consealer can’t cover up, leaving us to believe that Pro-Active worked wonders on her, and all the “actual” customers on the commercial say.
I had a friend purchase this product once as soon as it was available in Canada and she was very excited to try the 3 step program they offered. After suffering for years from rather bad acne and rosacea she thought that this may be the answer, after all, those people on tv, Jennifer Love Hewitt included said it was great.
Unfortunately she was one of those people that were on the commercial Pro-Active mentions in the tiny tiny writting on the bottom of the screen that said it may not work for everone. Infact after about 3 weeks of using it and having more pimples and painful irritated skin she packaged it all up in its original box and shipped it right back to them, and got her money refunded.
I hope that more people have good experiences with Pro-Active than bad, I just find it hard to believe when celebrities push products on tv commercial, like…do you really think Heather Locklear uses Prefrence Hair Color? No.
