Exercise can help acne sufferers

It seems counter-intuative to believe that excercise can help acne sufferers. Afterall, acne is caused by excessive blockage in the pores, and exercise only puts more stuff on your face - like sweat - that can block pores. However, exercise can actually help.

There are some confidence boosting reasons for exercise. The biggest one is that because your face flushes during exercise, acne is basically invisible. The redness of the acne disappears into the redness of the skin in general. Therefore, hardly anyone will be able to see the acne.

Additionally, exercise opens up your pores and skin in general. It has too, because you are sweating. Sometimes the pores can open up and if you clean them out afterwards, you can get out some of the clogging stuff in your pores.

Being healthy and in shape also helps your body fight bacteria - like acne causing bacteria. People who exercise on a regular basis also sleep better. A good amount of sleep enables your body to fight diseases and bacteria in a way that people who are sleep deprived cannot do.

Lastly, being active means you will drink more water. Water in your body helps remove bacteria. Water also help remove acne causing bacteria. By increasing your exercise, and increasing your water intake, you are increasing the chances that you can fight off acne without medical intervention.
