Acne specialists are coming to believe that there is a link between acne and vitamin B5 deficiency.

Vitamin B5, pantothenic acid, is a member of the vitamin B complex group. This group serves the body in many ways and has a role in most bodily functions. Pantothenic acid is also names coenzyme A. It is closely involved with the adrenal cortex function, and has become known as the antistress vitamin.

Vitamin B5 also helps keep skin and hair healthy and looking young. It helps prevent some signs of aging, such as wrinkles and lines. Vitamin B5 works to repair tissue from the inside out.

All of functions can help to keep acne at bay. Healthy skin doesn’t have acne, neither does young looking skin. By balancing some of the hormones produced in stressful situations, vitamin B5 can help keep hormone imbalances under control.

In modern day, people are eating more processed foods. As we eat more processed foods, some vital nutrients and vitamins are being removed from the food in order to preserve the food.
